Funding

Cirugía y Cirujanos is the official journal of the Mexican Academy of Surgery, being it the journal’s main funding source.

The publication fee is USD 500 for each accepted article. The time to publication will depend on the regular issue to which the manuscript is assigned.

If the author chooses the Early Online Publication option, the cost will be USD 1,300.

Authors who can provide proof of affiliation with the Academia Mexicana de Cirugía (AMC) will be exempt from payment, as part of the benefits granted by their membership.

The journal firmly supports the open access initiative and all works published in the journal are open for readers, without charge, under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
